Highbury College students offerred apprenticeships!

" The future, working towards the future"

With the increase in demand in the market for renewable energy technologies, Space Renewable Energy Ltd (SRE Ltd) decided a positive way forward would be to employ apprentice electricians and plumbers, in an ongoing partnership with Highbury College.

The first of many to be employed are Luke Waller and Charlie Growse, who are currently 3 years into a four year course studying electrics and plumbing.

SRE Ltd will support them throughout this course, as well as develop their skills and knowledge, offering valuable, practical experience in all aspects of installation, including the design of systems, all fully supervised by qualified electricians.

To enable students to gain realistic and specific training experience, SRE Ltd have provided the College with 10 Schott 185w solar panels and an SMA inverter.

As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, SRE Ltd are confident this partnership with the College will provide opportunities for many more students in the future.


Space Renewable Energy Ltd has been inspected and approved by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) providing greater protection for consumers and ensuring that the Government's (i.e. taxpayers) grant money is spent in an effective manner.	We commit to working to the high ethical standards of the REAL Assurance Consumer Code, provide a comprehensive guarantee of workmanship and, where appropriate, our installations are eligible for Low Carbon Building Programme grants and Feed-in-Tariffs.
